‘Baseball Science Centre: stimulate research and innovation in baseball.’
The Dutch baseball federation (KNBSB) collaborates with multiple Universities in the Netherlands bundled in the Baseball Science Centre. Through these collaborations it becomes possible for scientists to perform studies with professional athletes of our national baseball and softball teams. As a federation we hope, through research, to increased knowledge or even actual products or insights we can implement in our training programs.
Currently we work together with seven different universities. To help students from those Universities to share and grow their knowledge on the one hand, and on the other hand to encourage researchers to get knowledge out of the University and into practice, the Science Centre organizes monthly meet-ups for all baseball-science students in the Netherlands.
